Katelin's Preschool Easter Sing

Katelin has learned so much year in preschool. It has amazed me to see how much she's grown.
She had her "special day" this last week before the program, Matt went with to help, and Mrs. Stenger was teaching about Jesus dying on the cross.
Mrs. Stenger was trying to get the kids involved and asked them how they put Jesus on the cross. Matt said the other kids mentioned super glue, tape, etc.
Then Katelin pipes in, "suction cups" which had even the teacher laughing. Where she came up with suction cups...who only knows.
When I got home from work that day, she ran to show me her picture that they made in class. It was of a cross on a hill.
I asked her "What is that?"
K "A cross Mommy"
Me "What was that for"
K "They put Jesus on the cross, he died then went into the cave...
then came back to life and went to heaven"
I just about cried....

The 3's AM class

She's participating!!
Her friend, Myles, is standing behind her in the plaid. What you don't see is him bringing his arm down and knocking her hat down. It was funny...
She tried to fix her bunny ears, as you can tell her hair is a mess now!
She's really getting into the bunny hop.

Finally...off to the Park

FINALLY... we get to go to the park.
Poor Emilee has been hanging off the door to go outside, so we decided to get to the park. We went with our friends, Myles and Cadence to a newer park in Janesville, WI.

Here Cadence is showing Emilee that it is okay to go down the slide...

Emilee is on a mission here...can you tell?!?
I was praying that Katelin wouldn't get motion sickness on the tireswing.

When one can't sleep....

Then must update the blog! Going to try to get a few more up...

Goodbye Crib...Hello Big Girl Bed

We finally decided that it was time to take down the crib. Surprisingly, Emilee wasn't sad to see the crib gone; however, Katelin was super mad that I moved her bed.
She looks so grown-up in this picture.
The first night Emilee fell right asleep.
This was before she figured out that she could get out and move.

Matti's 11th Birthday

For Matti's birthday she wanted to have her party at Carlson Ice Arena/Sapora Playworld. On Sunday, Feb 15th she had seven friends show up to party with us. The kids got to skate for an hour, then pizza, cake, and presents, then play in the play area for an hour. Everyone was tired by the time it was over.

At least she's laughing after the fall.

Even Katelin went out to skate...
or should I say...held up by Mom.

Stonefire Pizza

Aunt Diana had been talking about this Pizza place in Milwaukee that she wanted to go check out, however needed the kids to do so! We decided to go up on Valentine's Day and have a birthday celebration for Matt & Matti.

It was neat...and expensive. Neat pizza buffet too!!

When Matti brought Katelin on this ride, I was kinda worried as I thought for sure she'd cry.
I was wrong.
She loved it!
Emilee even had fun playing games!
Matti & Sydney decided to try the rock climbing wall.
Emilee did NOT want to get out of the car.
Katelin did really good at the barnyard game.
Emilee loves the "Whack-A-Mole" thanks to my mother.
Afterwards, Matt and Matti got to blow out their birthday candles at Diana's house.
I had to post this picture of Drake (Diana & Pete's dog), as it is just so cute!!

Fun with the camera

Early February we purchased a new lens for the camera.
I was just testing it out and had some fun with it, as did the girls.

This is the look that gets her out of a lot of trouble!!

I wish Emilee's face wasn't dirty in this picture, however it gives her some character!

Katelin & Emilee's Birthday

Katelin is 4, and Emilee is 2. I think this birthday was a little difficult for me. Katelin has gotten bigger (mentally) and Emilee just isn't my baby anymore.
We had their party at Sapora Playland again this year on Sunday, January 25th. I didn't want to have to worry about a party at the house with all the school stuff going on.
I took the easy way out.
Here's some pics...

Matti and Katelin waiting patiently to go play.

Emilee looks so much older in this pic...

This was hilarious.
This slide does up 2-3 stories. We knew Katelin was coming down due to the fact
she screamed the whole way down.

Emilee was worn out 40 minutes into the party.
About 2 minutes after this picture she caught a cat nap.

Happiness for Emilee is....a new pair of SHOES. My girly girl.
